

Warwick, RI — The RIDOT has announced a number of exit and lane closures motorists should be wary of this week, and, in some cases, throughout the end of the month, starting with the closure of the exit for Rte. 95 south to Rte. 37 this week during week days.
TEMPORARY EXIT/RAMP CLOSURES
I-95 South at Exit 14B (Rte. 37 West), exit closed for bridge work, Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Follow signed detour using Exit 14A (Rte. 37 East.)
Exit 2 off I-295 south, exit closed from 9 a.m. till 3 p.m. Tuesday for drainage work. Follow signed detour via Exit 1.
HIGHWAY RESTRICTIONS
I-95 North and South, from Rte. 4 to Exit 18 Thurbers Ave., (East Greenwich/Warwick to Providence) lane and shoulder closures possible for bridge work, Monday-Thursday nights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day.
Rte. 1 (Post Rd.) North and South under Main Ave., lane and shoulder closures for bridge work through the end of November.
- 1 North: right shoulder closed
- 1 South: right lane closed
WEEKDAY
- Warwick: Rte. 2 North and South under I-295, bridge work behind barrier, Tuesday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Warwick: Rte. 117 (Centerville Rd.), from Diamond Hill Rd. to Toll Gate Rd., one lane closed for construction, Tuesday-Friday from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
