WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the RI Trooper Log May 15 – 20 involved a man wanted in MA, DUI charges, and a Providence man wanted in Warwick for embezzlement.

Warwick man charged as MA fugitive On May 15, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged Thomas Marold, 35, last known address of 59 S Shore Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island, with the following: 1) Fugitive from Justice from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Marold was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.
Centerville Road stop, DUI On Saturday, May 18 at 11:10 p.m., troopers arrested Michael Madera, 45, of 292 Aqueduct Road, Cranston, RI for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense / BAC Unknown 2) Refusal to submit to a chemical test.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centreville Road in the City of Warwick. Madera was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult, pending a future third district court date.
Providence stop, DUI On Saturday, May 18, at 11:43 p.m., troopers arrested David Chavez, 20, of 29 Beechcrest St., Warwick, Rhode Island, for Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs with a BAC .15 or greater (Phase I BAC = .149, Phase II BAC = .151).
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 6 East, in Providence. Chavez was processed at Rhode Island State Police Headquarters and held overnight pending arraignment at the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
Wanted in Warwick, embezzlement charge At 4:15 p.m. May 20, troopers arrested Miguel Angel Cosme Gonzalez, 46, of 115 Silver Lake Ave., Providence, RI on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Embezzlement originating out of the Warwick Police Department. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a disabled motor vehicle on Route 195 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.
