WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the RI Trooper Log  Aug. 20 – 23  involved charges for  missed court on a hit & run charge and a warrant for domestic violence and breaking and entering.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police Warwick arrests:

On Friday 23rd, at 12:12 AM, Troopers arrested Liza Daughty, age 41, of 115 Chatworth Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to appear for Pretrial Conference, on the original charge of Failure to stop for Accident, originating out of the Providence Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Acorn Street, in the City of Providence. Daughty was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Women’s Intake Center.

On August 23, 2024, members of the RI Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Kayvan Castellanos, age 30, of 391 George Arden Way, Warwick, Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Newport County Bench Warrant for Domestic Violence; and 2) Newport County Bench Warrant for Unlawful Breaking and Entering both out of the Portsmouth Police Department. Mr. Castellanos was taken into custody without incident, processed and directly turned over to officials at Newport County Court.
