RI Trooper Log: Warwick Arrests for DUI, Reckless Driving

WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the RI Trooper Log June 27 -July 7 involved charges for DUI, Reckless Driving, disorderly conduct at the RI Traffic Tribunal and a domestic assault report on Rte. 95.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police Warwick arrests:

Missed court, counterfeiting charge At 2:10 a.m. July  2, troopers arrested Armando Rodriguez-Libran, 47, of 272 Boswell Ave., Norwich, Connecticut on a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Arraignment Conference on the original charge of Passing of Counterfeit Bills/Notes originating out of the Rhode Island State Police Scituate Barracks.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Rodriguez-Libran was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center.

Centerville Road stop, DUI charge At 12:09 a.m. July 2, troopers arrested Shirley Castillo, 30, of 222 Park View Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – Second Offense with a BAC .08 to .15 (Phase I BAC = .127, Phase II BAC = .131).

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road, in Warwick. Castillo was processed at Rhode Island State Police Wickford Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released pending a future Third Division District Court date.

Rte. 95 stop, reckless driving, DUI charges At 7:07 p.m. July 3, troopers arrested Pedro Tzoc Sucuqui, 21, of 51 Crapo St., New Bedford, Massachusetts for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .10 – .15 – First Offense (Phase I: 0.110%) and (Phase II: 0.115%) and 2.) Reckless Driving.

The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Tzoc Sucuqui was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

RI Traffic Tribunal Disorderly Conduct On Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 3:30 PM, Troopers arrested Zakery Garica, 31 of 61 Crowfield Drive, Warwick, RI for 1) Disorderly Conduct and 2) Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal for a disturbance call and taking custody of the subject. The subject was transported to Fatima Hospital and misdemeanor released with a future Third District Court arraignment date.

Domestic assault 911 call on Rte. 95 At 1 :45 a.m. July 5, troopers arrested Demetri Mekhi Raymond-Grant, 20, of 19 Knights Road, Thorton, New Hampshire for 1) Domestic – Simple Assault 2) Domestic – Disorderly.

The arrest was the result of a E-911 call for a domestic dispute that occurred on Rte. 95 in Warwick and Troopers subsequently locating the suspect vehicle. The suspect was transported to State Police – Headquarters where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Third Division District Court date.
