RI Trooper Log Warwick Arrests: DUI, Unregistered Sex Offender

WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the RI Trooper Log  May 25 – May 31 involved charges for DUI, a Warren assault warrant, an unregistered sex offender and a warrant for disorderly conduct.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police Warwick arrests:

Rte. 95 stop, DUI  charge At 12:13 a.m. May 25, troopers arrested Christopher Hogan, 25, of 24 Greenbrier Road, Greenville, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs- BAC Unknown- First Offense, and 2) Refusal to submit to a chemical test. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick.

Hogan was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Wanted in Warren for assault On Sunday, May 26 at 11:40 p.m., troopers arrested Joab R. Coderre, 45, of 196 Sweet Ave., Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant issued by the Warren Police Department for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Warwick. Coderre was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, and later turned over to the Warren Police Department.

Post Road stop, DUI charge At 2:18 a.m., troopers arrested David Powers, 28, of 121 Lake Shore Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs with a BAC .15 or Greater (Phase I BAC = .174, Phase II BAC = .175) – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Post Road, in Warwick. Powers was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Traffic stop, shoplifting warrant At 6:07 a.m. May 28, troopers arrested Julie Tremmel, 57, of 12 Messenger Street, Providence, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Tremmel was transported to the Wickford Barracks where she was processed, and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.

Unregistered sex offender On May 28, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Robert H. Gillissie, 50, last known address of 292 Centerville Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Warwick Police Department for Sexual Offender – Failure to Register.

Gillissie was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Warwick Police Department on scene.

Wanted for Disorderly Conduct At 1:44 p.m. May 30, troopers arrested Jason Horton, age 39, of 29 Huxley Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Disorderly Conduct originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Mr. Horton was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, and later transported and turned over to the Providence Police Department.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI charge At 1:36 a.m. May 31, troopers arrested Jonathan Tartaglione, 37, of 20 Cedar Pond Drive, Apartment #12, Warwick, Rhode Island, for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense, and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95, in Warwick. Tartaglione was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
