WARWICK, RI —  Arrests in the RI Trooper Log this week in, nearby and involving Warwick, East Greenwich and Cranston included a man wanted on multiple warrants, including Warwick for obstruction, two men in cranston for violating a no contact order and a disturbance in court respectively, and an East Greenwich man wanted for forgery and identity fraud.
Traffic stop nabs man wanted in Warwick On Saturday, Dec. 16, at 10:45 a.m., troopers arrested Juan Rodriguez, 31, of 36 Miner St., Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Driving on a Suspended License originating out of the Providence Police Department, 2) Third District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Cranston Police Department, 3) Providence Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Receiving Stolen Goods/Felony originating out of the Providence Police Department and 4) Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Obstruction originating out of the Warwick Police Department.
The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Thurston Street in the City of Pawtucket. Rodriguez, was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Facility.
Cranston man arrested for breaking no contact order At 10:05 a.m., troopers arrested Traizon Valley, 22, of 125 Westwood Ave., Cranston, RI for Domestic Violence Prevention – Violation of a Protection Order.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 10 in the City of Providence. Valley was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment.
Troopers arrest Cranston man after court disturbance Troopers to At 4:35 p.m., Troopers arrested Luis A. Silva, 37, of 97 Caporal St., Cranston, RI for 1.) Violation of a No-Contact Order and 2.) Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of Capitol Police advising the barracks of a disturbance at Sixth District Court, an investigation by Troopers and a subsequent residence check.
Silva was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment in Sixth District Court.
Traffic stop in EG collars man wanted for counterfeiting, ID fraud, false document At 6:51 p.m., troopers arrested Manuel Ceballos, 47, of 44 Spruce St., Apt. 4, Lawrence, MA for 1.) Identity Fraud-Counterfeit/Forgery and 2.) Giving a False Document to Public Official.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in East Greenwich. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
