WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests June 22 through June  29 concerning Warwick involved DUI charges from traffic stops on Rte. 95, throwing articles at cars, larceny, and passing bad checks.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police arrests:

Throwing things at cars At 4:42 p.m. June 23, troopers arrested Nickolai Diepholz, age 24, of 45 Sheep Farm Drive, East Greenwich, RI for 1.) Vandalism/ Malicious Injury to Property 2.) Vandalism- Throwing Articles at Moving Vehicles and 3.) Disorderly Conduct- Fighting/ Tumultuous Behavior.

The arrest took place as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in Warwick. Diepholz was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later arraigned by a justice of the peace pending future arraignment.

Passing bad checks At 6:34 p.m. June 23, troopers arrested Marc Testa, 35, of 334 Knight St. Apt. #302, Warwick, for Fraudulent Checks – Over $1,500.

The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation at the State Police Wickford Barracks and Testa subsequently turning himself in. Testa was processed at the State Police Wickford Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and later released pending future arraignment.

Rte. 95 DUI At 12:55 a.m. June 23, troopers arrested Amanda Fontaine, 46, of 38 Bayview Ave., Apt. 5, North Kingstown, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to submit to a chemical breath test.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the City of Warwick. Fontaine was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

No-contact warrant At 1:10 p.m. June 24, troopers arrested Emmanuel Suggs, 26, of 2 Shippee Ave., West Warwick, Rhode Island for an active affidavit and arrest warrant out of the Johnston Police Department for violation of a No-Contact Order.

The arrest took place as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in the Town of West Warwick. Suggs was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Johnston Police Department pending future arraignment.

Rte. 95 DUI stop At 1:26 a.m. June 25, troopers arrested Michael Hartline, 36, for 1.) Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs – B.A.C. Unknown – 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to submit to a chemical breath test.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in Warwick. Hartline was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Domestic no-contact order arrest At 11:04 a.m. June 26, troopers arrested Jason Snow, 33, of 3137 West Shore Road Warwick, RI for Violation of a Domestic No Contact Order – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of the Capitol Police contacting the Wickford Barracks and Troopers responding to Third Division District Court and taking Mr. Snow into custody. Mr. Snow was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and then transported to Third Division District Court for his arraignment where he was also presented as a bail violator.

Missed court, larceny charge On June 29, at 2:49 a.m., troopers arrested Lary Torres, 59, of 25 Massie Ave. Apt. #2, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Domestic Vandalism originating out of the Providence Police Department. 2). Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Larceny Over $500 originating out of the Warwick Police Department. 3.) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule I/II, originating out of the Providence Police Department. 4.) Family Court Bench Warrant for a non-criminal charge for Reciprocal Body Attachment. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Elmwood Avenue in the City of Providence. Torres was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Providence Police Department.

DUI stop, Rte. 95 At 10:18 p.m. June 29, troopers arrested a Massachusetts man for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/ Drugs- 1st Offense B.A.C. Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest took place as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The man was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
