RI Trooper Log: Stolen Vehicle, Road Rage

WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests  Aug. 28 – 31 involving Warwick included charges for road rage, possession of a stolen car, and missing court on a suspended license charge.

Here are the basics on those arrests:

Possession of a stolen vehicle At 12 :40 p.m. Aug. 27, Troopers arrested Tyrec Maultsby, 33 of 309 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island, for Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop and subsequent barracks investigation by Trooper Ryan. Maultsby was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released.

Missed court, suspended license At 11 :19 a.m. Aug. 30, troopers arrested Uriah Conn, 40, of 125 Lincoln St., North Kingstown, Rhode Island, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Douglas Avenue in Providence. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and later turned over to Third District Court.

Rte. 95 Road Rage At 2:30 p.m. Aug. 31, troopers arrested Richard Mayo, 56, of 21 Schilke Drive, Westerly, Rhode Island and Charles Blain, 28, of 65 Neponset Heights Avenue, Foxboro, Massachusetts for 1.) Throwing Objects at Moving Vehicles and 2.) Disorderly Conduct. The arrests were the result of Troopers responding to and subsequent investigation of a road rage incident on Route 95 in the City of Warwick.

Mayo was subsequently located on Rte. 95 in Hopkinton. He was then transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, and released.

Bain was also was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, and released.
