Lincoln Woods Baracks
At 12:30 a.m. Dec. 17 troopers arrested Nicole Lostocco, 21, of 45 Angelas Way, Burlington, CT for Disorderly Conduct.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Lostocco was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed and later misdemeanor released with her pending court dates.
Scituate Barracks
At 2:44 p.m. Dec. 17, troopers arrested Richard Cazzarro, 54, of 957 Post Road, Warwick, RI for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Misdemeanor Larceny originating out of the Cranston Police Department.
Cazzarro was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed, and later turned over to Cranston Police Department.
Wickford Barracks
On Tuesday Dec. 16 at 11:59 p.m., troopers arrested Nicholas Silvermail, 25, of 24 Africa Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – BAC Unknown – First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick.
Silvermail was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, Special Arraigned before a Justice of the Peace and released.
Hope Valley Barracks
At 1:11 a.m. Dec. 17, troopers arrested James Mariano, 33, of 68 Plenty St., Warwick, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear / Pay on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault originating from the Warwick Police Department.
This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in the Town of West Warwick.Mariano was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institute- Men’s Intake.
State Police Computer Crimes Unit
On Wednesday, Dec. 17, members of the Rhode Island Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, including Warwick officers, arrested Joseph Oakes, 24, of 1 Allison Ave., Coventry, for Third-Degree Sexual Assault of a 14-year-old girl and a Superior Court Probation Violation Warrant.
During a check of Oaks’ phone, the ICAC discovered Oakes had used his phone for online chatting, and found evidence on Oakes’ cell phone of alleged sexual activity with a 14-year old girl.
Oakes is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on Jan. 15, 2015.
