RI Trooper Log: Offensive Words, Scofflaws & Shoplifters

Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI arrests were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

On Oct. 7 at 11 a.m., troopers arrested Keywion Brown, 25, of 15 Ames St., West Warwick, RI on a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge of Possession of a Firearm Without a License from the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Brown was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to Providence Superior Court.

On Oct. 7 at 12 p.m., Troopers arrested William Otte, 47, of 15 27 Home St., West Warwick, RI for Disorderly Conduct (Offensive Words at Another).

The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the Noel Judicial Complex for a complaint. Otte was processed at the Wickford Barracks then arraigned at Third District Court.

On Oct. 7 at 3:30 p.m., troopers arrested Manuel Torres, 54, of 157 Alabama Ave., Apt.1, Providence, on a 6th District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Driving Without a License from the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Torres was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and later released by a Justice of the Peace after posting the required surety bail.

On Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 12:49 p.m., troopers arrested John Palazzo, age 53, of 2 Aster St, West Warwick, RI on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License from the State Police Wickford Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bald Hill Road in the City of Warwick.

Palazzo was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and transported to Third District Court.

On Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 5:05 p.m., troopers arrested Kristina O’Halloran, 22, of 988 Longview Drive, North Attleboro, MA for a 1) Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Misdemeanor Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department and 2) Obstruction of a Police Officer in the Execution of Duty.

The arrest was the result of Troopers conducting a motor vehicle stop on Route 295 following a Be On the Look Out (BOLO) from the Warwick Police Department for a vehicle wanted for questioning related to a shoplifting.

O’Halloran was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed and held overnight pending a morning arraignment.

On Tuesday, Oct. 7, at 5:05 p.m., troopers arrested Travis Castro, 24, of 155 Railroad St., Pawtucket, RI for a 1) Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the Ability to Pay on the original charge of Misdemeanor Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department and 2) Obstruction of a Police Officer in the Execution of Duty.

The arrest was the result of troopers conducting a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 295 following a BOLO for a vehicle wanted for questioning related to a shoplifting put out by the Warwick Police Department.

Castro was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
