WARWICK, RI ā€”Ā RI Trooper Log arrestsĀ  April 30 through May 6 involved a DUI stop and warrants for DUI, felony assault, forgery and a protective order violation.

Here are the basics on thoseĀ RI State PoliceĀ arrests:

Warrant, Domestic Felony Assault At 1:42 p.m. May 1, troopers arrested Tanner Fasteson, 24, of 44 Balcom Road, Foster, RI, for 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the charge of Domestic Felony Assault by Strangulation out of the Foster Police Department, and 2.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for arraignment on the original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V out of the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a disabled motor vehicle on Route 95 in the Town of East Greenwich. Fasteson was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and turned over to Kent County Superior Court.

Providence Stop, Family Court Warrant On Monday, May 1, 2023, at 9:59 p.m., troopers arrested Vincent Gonzalez, 33, of 172 King St., Warwick, Rhode Island, on a Providence Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue, in the City of Providence. Gonzalez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

Rte. 146 stop, forgery warrant On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 2:49 a.m., troopers arrested Bryan Steffens, 34, of 51 Gage St., West Warwick, Rhode Island, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for 1.) Forgery of Checks and 2.) Larceny originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 North, in North Providence. Steffens was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and then turned over to the Providence Police Department.

Rte. 95 stop, resisting arrest At 10:30 a.m. May 3, troopers arrested Latareiyah Kirby, 20, of 480 High St., Apt. A7 South Kingstown, Rhode Island for 1) Disorderly Conduct and 2) Resisting Arrest.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Kirby was transported to the Wickford Barracks where she was processed and then transported to Third Division District Court where she was arraigned.

Missed court, DUI charge At 2:05 a.m. May 4, troopers arrested Francis Alvarado, 38, of 49 Academy Ave. Apt. #1, Providence, Rhode Island on a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the charge of Driving Under the Influence of Liquor originating out of the State Police Lincoln Barracks.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Alvarado was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and then transported to the Adult Correctional Institution’s Men’s Intake Center

Rte. 95 stop, DUI At 1:39 a.m. May 4, troopers arrested Meghan Mackay, 42, of 30 Beachwood Drive, North Kingstown, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs ā€“ BAC Unknown ā€“ 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where she was processed and held overnight as a Bail Violator, pending morning arraignment.

Wanted for vandalism At 10 a.m. may 4, troopers arrested Maurice Brown, 51, of 255 Prairie Ave., Providence, Rhode Island for An Affidavit and Arrest warrant on the charge of Vandalism/ Malicious Injury to Property, originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was a result of the Capitol Police advising they had Brown in custody. Brown was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.

Protective order violation On Saturday, May 6, at 12:10 a.m., troopers arrested Quinton Taylor, 31, of 440 Rose Garden St., Warwick, Rhode Island, for Violation of a Protection Order – Third Offense (Two Counts).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Douglas Avenue, in the City of Providence. Quinton was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending arraignment/presentment as a probation/bail violator.
