WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests Oct. 1 – 7 concerning Warwick involved charges for DUI, and possession of Cocaine, Amphetamine, and two firearms possession charges, one with intent to deliver cocaine, the other with an illegal capacity device.

Here are the basics on those RI Trooper Log arrests:

DUI, Rte. 95 At 3:29 a.m. Oct. 1, troopers arrested Sharond Delance, 41, of 183 Rock Ave., Burrillville, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of an Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs- BAC Unknown- First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Unlicensed pistol, illegal capacity feed At 10:17 a.m. Oct. 2, troopers arrested Travis Clements, 32, of 79 Union Drive, Apt. #2, North Kingstown, RI for 1.) License or Permit Required to Carry Pistol and 2.) Large Capacity Feeding Devises Prohibited – Two Counts. This arrest was the result of Troopers checking a disabled motor vehicle on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Clements was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, processed and later transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

Missed court, larceny, shoplifting charges At 8:54 p.m. Oct. 2, troopers arrested Crystal Klekot, 48, of 291 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, Rhode Island for 1.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Larceny originating out of the Cranston Police Department, and 2.) Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Cranston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Klekot was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Women’s Intake Center.

Obtaining, False Pretenses At 2:15 a.m. Oct. 3, troopers arrested Nancy Ledee, 34, of 457 Ten Rod Road, North Kingstown, Rhode Island for 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Obtaining Property by False Pretenses-Over $1,500 originating out of the North Kingstown Police Department, and 2.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License originating out of the North Kingstown Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Ledee was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the North Kingstown Police Department.

Wanted, shoplifting On Oct. 2, at 10:30 p.m., troopers arrested Chante Pates, 25, of 20 Baker St, West Warwick RI, for a 3rd District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre Trial-Conference on the original charge of Shoplifting originating out of the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95, in the City of Warwick. Pates was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions – Women’s Intake Center.

No Contact Order Violation On Oct. 2, the ACI Investigations Unit charged Nicholas B. Hawes, 34, last known address of 599 West Shore Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, with Violation of a Domestic No Contact Order, 3rd or Subsequent Offense. Hawes was ordered held without bail and issued a future court date.

Wanted, Multiple Warrants On Oct. 3, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Jeoni Frazier, 21, of 94 West Clifford Street, Providence, Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-trial Conference on an original charge of Larceny & Grand Theft; 2) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Arraignment Conference on an original charge of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle; 3) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Arraignment Conference on an original charge of Shoplifting/Grand Theft; 4) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for arraignment on an original charge of Shoplifting/Grand Theft (2nd offense); 5) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant drafted by the Warwick Police Department for Felony Shoplifting (2nd offense); 6) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant drafted by the Cranston Police Department for the charge of Conspiracy-Felony; and 6) Fugitive from Justice Warrant out of the Westwood Massachusetts Police Department for Strongarm Robbery (Business) and Felony Larceny out of the North Attleboro Massachusetts Police Department. Ms. Frazier was taken into custody without incident, transported and turned over to the Providence Police Department.

Cocaine Posession, West Warwick Stop At 9:02 a.m. Oct. 4, troopers arrested Stephanie Clifford, 27, of 980 Main Ave, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance – Schedule I-V- Less Than 10 Grams (Cocaine) and 2.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Animal Cruelty originating out of the East Greenwich Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Wakefield Street in the Town of West Warwick. Clifford was processed at the Wickford Barracks and transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

Coventry Stop, Amphetamine Possession On Oct. 4, 11:40 p.m., troopers arrested Mary Ayres, age 49, of 1735 Main Street, Apartment #27, Warwick, Rhode Island, for Possession of a Schedule I to V Controlled Substance (Amphetamine). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on New London Turnpike in the Town of Coventry. Ayres was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and misdemeanor released pending a future Third Division District Court arraignment date.

Firearm, Cocaine Possession, Intent to Deliver On Oct. 4 in the RI Trooper Log, members of the HIDTA Task Force arrested Koua Kue, 45, of 224 Strawberry Hill Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, for the following: 1) Possession With the Intent to Deliver 1 oz – 1 kilo of a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Cocaine; 2) Possession With the Intent to Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance – Cocaine; and 3) Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Controlled Substance Violation. Kue was transported to the Lincoln Barracks for processing and later transported to Third District Court for arraignment.

Airport Connector Stop, DUI On Oct. 7, at 12:59 a.m., troopers arrested Ryan Simoneau, 27, of 35 Lake St., Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of an Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs- BAC Unknown- First Offense, and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on the Airport Connector in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
