RI Trooper Log: DUI, Simple Assault

WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests  the week of Oct. 17-22  involving Warwick included charges for DUI, and a missed court hearings for domestic simple assault.

Here are the basics on those arrests:

Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest At 1:04 a.m. Oct. 21, troopers arrested Anthony Olaes, 44, of 187 Aqueduct Road, Cranston, RI, for 1) Driving Under the Influence – B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Missed court, domestic simple assault At 9:54 a.m. Oct. 21, troopers arrested Christopher Harvey, 33, of 7255 Post Rd North Kingstown, RI for a Newport County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on a Technical Violation on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the Newport Police Department.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Harvey was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and then transported to Newport County Superior Court.

This is a test
