WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests Dec. 16 – Dec. involving Warwick included charges for DUI, assault, fraud, and domestic malicious damage.
Here are the basics on those arrests:
Wanted for assault At 8:06 a.m. Dec. 16, troopers arrested Micajah Gore, age 20, of 110 Toledo Avenue, Warwick, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the charge of Simple Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident investigation on Route 195 in the City of East Providence. Gore was processed and turned over to the Providence Police Department.
Wanted, multiple warrants At 9:05 a.m. Dec. 16, troopers arrested Tyler Carew, age 28, of 95 Church Street, West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Determination Hearing on the original charge of Domestic Violence- Criminal Violation of a No-Contact Order originating out of the West Warwick Police Department 2.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Determination Hearing on the original charge of Domestic Violence- Criminal Violation of a No-Contact Order originating out of the West Warwick Police Department, 3.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Trial on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department, 4.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Trial on the original charge of Domestic Violence – Unlawful Breaking and Entering originating out of the Providence Police Department, 5.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Domestic Violence- Criminal Violation of a No-Contact Order originating out of the Providence Police Department, 6.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Domestic Violence – Unlawful Breaking and Entering originating out of the Providence Police Department, 7.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Domestic Violence- Criminal Violation of a No-Contact Order originating out of the Providence Police Department, 8.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Trial on the original charge of Domestic Violence – Unlawful Breaking and Entering originating out of the Providence Police Department, 9.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant on the charges of Domestic Simple Assault -3rd Offense, Domestic Vandalism, Domestic Disorderly Conduct, and Driving Without Consent of Owner originating out of the State Police Wickford Barracks, 10.) Domestic Simple Assault – 3rd Offense, 11.) Domestic Vandalism – 3rd Offense, 12.) Domestic Disorderly Conduct – 3rd Offense, 13.) Domestic Violence – Failure to Relinquish Telephone, 14.) Resisting Legal or Illegal Arrest, 15.) Reckless Driving/Eluding a Law Enforcement Officer with a Motor Vehicle in a High-Speed Pursuit, and 16.) Driving With a Suspended License – 3rd Offense. The arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a Domestic Assault complaint that occurred on Route 95 North in the City of Warwick. Carew was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment.
Domestic Malicious Damage At 12 :11 a.m. Dec. 16, troopers arrested Antshawn Muhammad, 23, of 53 Diamond St., Apt. 2, Providence, RI on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Providence Police Department for Domestic Malicious Damage. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.
Missed court, fraud charge On Dec. 16, at 2:08 p.m., Troopers arrested Michael Turner, age 61, of 105 Beacon Avenue, Warwick, RI for: 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Arraignment Conference on the original charge of Fraudulent Conversion by Agent originating out of the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Academy Avenue in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center.
DUI, Rte. 95 stop At 12:09 a.m. Dec. 19, Troopers arrested Casey Gaskell, age, 28, of 11 Lorraine Avenue, Coventry, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense B.A.C. Unknown and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – Second Offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95, in City of Warwick. Gaskell was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
DUI, Rte. 95 stop At 10:29 p.m. Dec. 19, troopers arrested Damien Barbosa, age 40, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor or Drugs-First Offense, BAC .10-.15 (Phase I: .120 BAC, Phase II: .115). This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing, and arraigned By a Justice of the Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
Missed court, assault warrant On Dec. 16, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Alton Williams, 47, of 26 Gilooly Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, on the following: 1.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Arraignment Conference on an original charge of Sex Offender Registration; 2.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Reciprocal Body Attachment; 3.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Suspended Sentence (32F); and 4.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant drafted by the Johnston Police Department for the charge of Aggravated Assault. Mr. Williams was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and turned over to the Johnston Police Department.
