WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests in and near Warwick from March 1 through March 3  involved DUI charges resulting from stops along Rte. 95 in Warwick.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Rte. 95 stop DUI arrest At 1:46 a.m. March 1, Troopers arrested Michael O’Keefe, age 27, of 131 Sutton Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs -First Offense- BAC Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. O’Keefe was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI charge On Sunday, March 1, at 1:35 a.m., troopers arrested Kyle Waldeck, 29, of 20 Wilshire Way, Coventry, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs B.A.C. unknown – First offense; and 2.) Refusal to submit to a chemical test – Second offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95, in Warwick. Waldeck was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned and then released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest At 2:14 a.m. March 3 troopers arrested Jeffrey Laychak, 34, of 205 Laurel Ridge Lane, North Kingstown, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs- BAC Unknown- 1st Offense 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test- 1st Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Laychak was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released to the custody of a responsible adult.
