Warwick, RI – This week’s Rhode Island State Police activity in and nearby Warwick involved an arrest for DUI reckless driving stemming from a crash on Rte. 95 in Warwick, as well as traffic stops catching people wanted on warrants from the West Warwick, Coventry and Cranston Police Departments.

New London Turnpike stop nabs man wanted on WW, Coventry Warrants At 1:42 p.m. Nov. 23, troopers arrested Michael Fratus, 23, of 1 Ferreira Ct., Apt. #4 West Warwick, RI on a 1.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Comply with Conditions of Release on the Charge of Domestic-Disorderly Conduct originating out of the West Warwick Police Department 2.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the charge of Larceny Under $1,500.00 originating out of the Coventry Police Department and 3.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the charge of Simple Assault originating out of the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on New London Avenue in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and then turned over to Third District Court.

Rte. 95 crash results in arrest on DUI, reckless driving charges At 9:45 a.m. Nov. 20, troopers arrested Brian O’Toole, 39, of 2 Regency Place, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Reckless Driving, and 2.) Ignition Interlock System Imposed With DWI.

The arrest was a result of troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Rte. 95 South in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Robinson then released after posting cash bail.

Providence traffic stop ends in woman’s arrest on Cranston warrant At 9:32 a.m. Nov. 19, troopers arrested Jocelyn Sanchez, 26, of 21 Russo St., Providence, RI on a Third District Court Bench Warrant on the charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Cranston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Atwells Avenue in Providence. The subject was transported to Third District Court.
