WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests Sept. 1 – 8 concerning Warwick involved charges of DUI, driving on a suspended license, and one woman wanted for domestic assault, burglary, and fraud.
Here are the basics on those RI State Police arrests:
DUI arrest, Rte. 95 At 12:45 a.m. Sept. 3, troopers arrested Waldemar Rivera Gonzalez, 37, of 26 Cowesett Ave. , West Warwick, RI, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence – First Offense – B.A.C. .10-.15 (Phase I .144 and Phase II .130) and 2.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor or Drugs – Passenger Under the Age of 13 First Offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Gonzalez was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by the justice of the peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
Domestic assault, fraud, burglary On Sept. 5, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Johanna Arias, 35, of 11 Durham St., Providence, Rhode Island, on the following: 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Warwick Police Department for Domestic Assault; 2.) Federal Warrant for Wire Fraud for Violation of Probation; and 3.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Providence Police Department for Burglary, Forced Entry / Residence.
Arias was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Providence Police Department.
Suspended license On Sept. 8, at 8:28 a.m., troopers arrested Alejandro Lopez Hernandez, 36, of 62 Friendship St. Apt. #2, Providence, Rhode Island for Driving with a Suspended License – Certain Violations.
The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North, in Warwick. Hernandez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center.
