WARWICK, RI —  Arrests in the RI Trooper Log this week  in, nearby and involving Warwick included court scofflaws and two arrests related to narcotics possession charges, one for possession of narcotics, the second for probation violation on an original charge of narcotics possession.

Details on each arrest are as follows:

Troopers arrest Central Falls man for narcotics possession At 10 a.m. Dec. 31 troopers arrested Adrith Oyola, 34, of 126 Sumner St., 1st Floor, Central Falls, RI for a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V Controlled Substance, originating out of the State Police Scituate Barracks.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Oyola was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake.

Traffic stop nabs man on parole violation At 7:46 p.m. Dec. 31 troopers arrested Dayrell Nathaniel, 37, of 62 Ferguson St., Providence, RI for a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I-II originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Nathaniel was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake.

Troopers arrest man for missing court on expired license charge At 7:50 a.m. Jan. 1, troopers arrested Jeffrey McKay, 21, of 90 Crystal Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island for a Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge of Driving Without/ Expired License originating out of the Cranston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 in the City of Cranston. McKay was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men’s Intake.

Court scofflaw arrested after Rte. 37 traffic stop At 3:50 p.m., Jan. 3, troopers arrested Derek Corvese, 37, of 285 Borden Ave., Johnston for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 37 West in Cranston. Corvese was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and turned over to Men’s Intake – ACI.
