WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests in and near Warwick from Feb. 21 through Feb. 24  involved charges of casino fraud, reckless driving, DUI and missed court appearances.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Missed court, casino fraud charge At 10:32 p.m. Feb. 21, troopers arrested William Sharkey, 33, of 27 Springdale St., Malden, Massachusetts for a Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Payment on the original charge of Casino Fraud originating out of the Rhode Island State Police.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Sharkey was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men’s Intake Center.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest At 1:20 a.m. Feb. 22, troopers of the Traffic Safety Unit arrested a Cranston, man or 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs – First Offense – BAC Unknown, 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. The driver was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Rte. 95 crash, DUI arrest At 10:05 p.m., Feb. 22, troopers of the Traffic Safety Unit and Wickford Barracks arrested Derek Oliveira, 29, of 55 Brown St., East Providence, Rhode Island for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs – Second Offense – BAC Unknown.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Oliveira was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Protection order, probation violation charges At 11:58 p.m. Feb. 22, troopers arrested Jonathan Pomales, 30, of 32 Gardner Ave., West Warwick, Rhode Island for Violation of a Protection Order. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bald Hill Road, in the City of Warwick.

Pomales was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks, processed, and held overnight as a probation violator, pending morning arraignment.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest At 12:26 a.m. Feb. 23, troopers arrested Mohammed Shatnawi, 33, of 2900 Kingston Road, Apartment #425, Kingston, Rhode Island for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs -First Offense, .08-.10, (Phase 1- 0.095), (Phase II- 0.096).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Rte. 95 crash, DUI arrest At 11:52 p.m. Feb. 23, troopers arrested Jose Villatoro, 23, of 35 Hymer St., Apartment #2, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs -First Offense- BAC Unknown, and 2.) Reckless Driving. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Rhode Island Hospital where he was misdemeanor released.

Missed court, suspended license charge At 10:43 p.m. Feb. 22, troopers arrested Vaallah Brown, 28, of 196 Montgomery Ave. Apt. #2, Cranston, Rhode Island for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge of Diving with Suspended License originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in the City of Providence. Brown was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution- Men’s Intake Center.
