RI Trooper Log arrests in Rhode Island March 1 through March 10 involved charges for DUI,

Here are the basics on those RI State Police arrests:

Burglary, Controlled Substance At 1:15 pm March 4, troopers arrested William Wright, 46, of 88 Dunkin Road, Warwick Rhode Island for 1.) A Third Division District Court Warrant for Burglary – Controlled Substance originating out of the Coventry Police Department and 2) A Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for failure to appear to be presented as a violator on the original charge of possession of schedule I to V controlled substance originating out of the Coventry Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street in the Town of West Warwick. Wright was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and then transported to the Adult Correctional Institution’s Men’s Intake Center.

DUI, East Avenue At 1:44 a.m. March 4, troopers arrested Luis Martinez, 20, of 369 Montgomery Ave. Apt. #4M, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor / and or Drugs – 1st Offense B.A.C Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

This arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in the City of Warwick. Martinez was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult

Missed court, controlled substance charge At 2:32 a.m. March 5, troopers arrested Brianna Delgado, 33, of 14 Manilla St., North Providence, Rhode Island for a Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Determination of Attorney, on the original charge of Possession of a Schedule I – V Controlled Substance, originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Douglas Avenue in Providence. Delgado was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Women’s Intake Center

Court order violation Traffic stop, On Tuesday March 7, at 2:35 a.m., troopers arrested Frank Joseph, 55, of 271 Stillwater Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island for an Affidavit and Arrest warrant for Violation of a Court Order, originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Potters Avenue, in Providence. Joseph was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Providence Police Department.

Wanted for domestic assault On March 7, at 10:53 p.m., troopers arrested Marquis Davis, 25, of 400 Knight Street, Warwick, Rhode Island, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for Domestic Simple Assault, originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Cranston Street in Providence. The subject was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and turned over to the Providence Police Department.

Embezzlement, Obtaining Property by False Pretenses At 9:05 p.m. March 9, troopers arrested Dwayne Silva 42, of 36 Chambers St, Apt. 2, Providence, Rhode Island on an affidavit and arrest warrant for 1.) Embezzlement and Fraudulent Conversion, and 2.) Obtaining Property by False Pretenses, originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Warwick Police Department.
