Traffic stop ends with arrest for missing court On Dec. 3, at 10:28 p.m., troopers arrested Joshua Cooney, Jr., 21, of 31 Huron St., Warwick RI for 1.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charges of Sale/Concealment of Property originating out of Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Crawford Street in the City of West Warwick. Cooney was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution.

Traffic stop nabs man for missing court on stolen vehicle charge At 12:49 a.m. Dec. 8, troopers arrested Jacob Smith, 19, of 335 East Washington St., North Attleboro, Massachusetts on a Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution on the original charge of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bald Hill road in the City of Warwick. Smith was transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.
