Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI area arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

WARWICK, RI —  State Police arrests in the RI Trooper Log between Oct. Nov. 13 and Nov. 16 in and involving Warwick were for men wanted for missing court and counterfeiting.

North Providence man wanted on warrants At 11:10 p.m. Nov. 14, troopers arrested Cotey Vasconcellos, 25 of 80 Oregon Ave, North Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended license originating from the State Police Wickford Barracks and 2.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended license originating from the Cranston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of Troopers conducting a warrant check and subsequently locating the subject at the Crowne Plaza in the City of Warwick.

Wanted counterfeiter surrenders to troopers At 9:57 a.m. Nov. 14, troopers arrested Erica Audet, 26, of 1 Cedar Pond Drive # 1, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) State Police Hope Valley – Affidavit and Arrest for Forgery and Counterfeiting (2 Counts), 2.) Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation in conjunction with South Kingstown Police Detectives.

The subject turned herself in at the Hope Valley Barracks, was processed and turned over to Fourth District Court for arraignment.

Troopers arrest Woonsocket driver on warrants after crash At 6:54 p.m. Nov. 15, troopers arrested Genesis Ortiz, 18, of 89 2nd Ave., Woonsocket, Rhode Island for 1.) an active Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Disorderly Conduct originating out of the North Smithfield Police Department and 2.) an active Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Vandalism originating out of the North Smithfield Police Department.

The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Subject was taken to the ACI- Women’s Intake Center where she was held pending morning arraignment.
