WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests in and near Warwick from Jan. 20 through Jan. 24  included DUI, larceny and grand theft charges as well as driving without consent.

Here are the available details of those arrests:

Traffic stop, missed hearing On Monday, Jan. 20 at 10:08 p.m., troopers arrested David Currier, 40, of 88 Church St., West Warwick, Rhode Island, on a Third Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a pre-trial conference on the charge of Domestic Disorderly Conduct originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Brookside Avenue in West Warwick. Currier was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.

Rte. 95 stop, missed hearing At 4:20 p.m. Jan. 21, troopers arrested Angel Torres, 28, of 130 Mineral Spring Ave., Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on a Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Technical Violation Hearing on the original charge of Second-Degree Robbery, originating from the Cranston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.

Rte. 95 stop, domestic disorderly charge At 12:20 a.m. Jan. 21, troopers arrested Michael Maurelli, 46, of 5552 North Church St., Greensboro, North Carolina, for Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of domestic disturbance and subsequent motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in the City of Warwick.

The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third Division District Court.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI charge At 12:40 a.m. Jan. 21, troopers arrested Robert Keane, 27, of 61 Wayne Street, Warwick, Rhode Island, for: 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense/B.A.C. Unknown; 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test; and 3.) Driving with a Suspended License – First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in Cranston. Keane was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Tip leads to DUI arrest On Tuesday, Jan. 21, at 3:11 p.m., troopers arrested Froilan Perez, 35, of 87 Hazard Ave., Warwick,  on a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Cost Review on the original charge of DUI First Offense – BAC Unknown out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of the report of a subject in custody at the state Attorney General’s Office. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.

B&E, Larceny, Grand Theft On Jan. 21, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Justin A. Russell, 29, of 95 Park Ave. – Apartment 1, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, on the following: 1.) Affidavit and Arrest Warrant from the Cranston Police Department for Domestic Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct; 2.) Kent County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on an original charge of Larceny and Grand Theft originating from the Warwick Police Department; 3.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on an original charge of Breaking and Entering originating from the Cranston Police Department; 4.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on an original charge of Robbery originating from the Cranston Police Department; and 5.) Providence County Superior Court Warrant for Failure to Appear for Technical Violation Hearing on an original charge of Larceny and Grand Theft originating from the Johnston Police Department.

Russell was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and turned over to the Cranston Police Department.

No-contact violation At 11 a.m. Jan. 20, troopers arrested James Arnold,  63, of 125 Maplecrest Drive, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for a Violation of a No Contact Order. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick.

Arnold was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest At 2:12 a.m. Jan. 24, troopers arrested Alexandria McKinley, 23, of 45 Melrose Avenue, Pawtucket, RI., for 1.) Driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, First Offense- BAC .15 or Greater.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. McKinley was returned to the Lincoln Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

Rte. 95, DUI arrest At 1:49 a.m. Jan. 24, troopers arrested Sousadachanh Sengaphay,  37, of 525 Country View Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs-1st Offense B.A.C Unknown and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Arrest warrant, missed hearing At 1:50 a.m. Jan. 24, troopers arrested Wesley Hinnant, 28, of 2347 Tiebout Avenue, Bronx, New York, on a Superior Court Warrant Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the original charge of Driving Without Consent of Owner originating from the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.

Larceny, vandalism charges At 9:53 p.m. Jan. 23, troopers arrested Holly Buffinton, 45, of 344 Pleasant St. Apt. #2, Rumford, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the charges of 1.) Larceny Over $1,500 and 2.) Vandalism / Malicious Injury to Property originating out of the Foster Police Department.

The arrest was a result of motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95, in Warwick. Buffinton was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed and then turned over to Foster Police Department.
