WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests in Warwick during the week of Sept. 30 through Oct. 3 included arrests for charges of possession of illegal drugs, DUI, violating a no contact order, and assault.

Here are the available details of those arrests:

Warrant: violating no contact order On Sept. 30, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Thomas Ford, 34, of 3343 Post Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Affidavit/Arrest Warrant originating out of the Warwick Police Department for Violation of No Contact Order (Felony); 2) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Arraignment Conference; and 3) Superior Court Bench Warrant Failure to Appear on 32F Violation for Suspended Sentence.

Ford was processed and turned over to the Warwick Police Department.

Missed court, possession, intent to distribute charge On Oct. 1, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrest Cody Allison, 32, of 300 Lambert Lind Highway Apartment 235, Warwick, Rhode Island, on the following: 1) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Determination of Attorney on a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute originating out of the Providence Police Department; 2) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on a charge of Driving After Suspension of License out of the North Smithfield Police Department; and 3) Family Court Reciprocal Body Attachment for Failure to Appear – Non Support.

Allison was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and later transported to Providence Superior Court.

Warrant, simple assault On Oct. 1, 2019, members the Major Crimes Unit arrested Brianna Rothermel, 22, of 64 Craig Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for: 1.) Simple Assault; and 2.) Disorderly Conduct. Ms. Rothermel was arraigned in Third District Court, issued $3,000 personal recognizance bail and remanded to the Adult Correctional Institutions.

DUI arrest on Post Road At 1:40 a.m. Oct. 3, Troopers arrested Dustin Miller, 44, of 101 Ticonderoga Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs- 1st Offense / B.A.C. Unknown, Driving with a Suspended License 1st Offense, and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Post Road in the City of Warwick. Miller was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Warwick warrant for shoplifting At 2:03 p.m. Oct. 4, troopers arrested Helluva Brown, 27 of 5 Mountain Vernon St., Providence, RI., on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant originating out of Warwick Police Department on the original charge of Shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Potters Avenue in the City of Providence. Brown was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where she was processed and later transported to Warwick Police Department.
