Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI area arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

WARWICK, RI —  Arrests in the RI Trooper Log  this week in, nearby and involving Warwick were for offenses including a missed court hearing on a DUI charge, cocaine and methamphetamine possession and disorderly conduct.

Disorderly court scofflaw arrested At 11:05 p.m., troopers arrested Michael J. Ryan, 48, of 22 Old Mountain Trail, Apartment 2F, Richmond, RI, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for arraignment for the original charge of Driving After Denial, Revocation of License originating out of the Hope Valley Barracks.

The arrest was the result of troopers responding to a disorderly subject while on patrol on Washington Street in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute Men’s Intake Center.

Traffic stop yields arrest on cocaine, amphetamine possession charges At 11:30 p.m., troopers arrested Rubenstein Charles, 25, of 93 Fourth Ave., Apt. 41, West Warwick, RI, for: 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-IV (Cocaine); 2.) Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-IV (Amphetamines/Salts); and 3.) Driving While in Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third District Court.

Warwick man arrested for missing court on a DUI charge At 10:50 a.m. Oct. 26 troopers arrested Joshua Peck, 26, of 34 Norfolk Ave., Warwick, RI, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of DUI from the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of Capitol Police taking Peck into custody at the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal in the City of Cranston. Peck was later turned over to Third District Court.

Warwick man arrested at Harrington Hall for disorderly conduct At 4:45 p.m. Oct. 26, troopers arrested Stanley Waleryszak, 46, of 1310 Jefferson Boulevard, Warwick, RI for Disorderly Conduct.

The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to Harrington Hall in the City of Cranston for a report of a disturbance. Subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
