Warwick, R.I. – RI Trooper arrests in the Warwick area this week included arrests for violation of a no-contact order, DUI, Alprazolam possession, and passing fraudulent checks.
West Warwick man arrested for violating no contact order On July 13 at 10:48 p.m., troopers arrested Jose Segarra, 19, of 30 Prospect Hill Ave, West Warwick, RI, for Violation of a No Contact Order – 2nd Offense.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Main Street in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment as a Probation Violator.
Troopers arrest Warwick man on DUI Charge on Rte. 95 On July 14, at 1:30 a.m., troopers arrested Sandra Jones, 51, of 77 Strawberry Field Road Apt. 122, Warwick, RI for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 2nd Offense/ BAC Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible party.
Troopers arrest Warwick man on fraudulent checks warrant At 10:04 p.m. July 14, troopers arrested John L. Sullivan, 25, of 3595 Post Road, Warwick, R.I. on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Fraudulent Checks – (Under $1,500) originating out of the Hope Valley Barracks.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and subsequent check of residence. Sullivan was processed, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Robinson and released pending a Third Division District Court date.
West Warwick Woman for DUI, Alprazolam possession At 12:13 a.m. July 14, troopers arrested Jamilex Valentin Orsini, 20, of 50 Epworth Ave., West Warwick, R.I. for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance – Schedule 4 (Alprazolam), 2.) Driving under the Influence of an Intoxicating Liquor and or Drugs – 1st Offense (BAC Unknown), and 3.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle on Rte. 95 South in the Town of Hopkinton.
Valentin was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed and held overnight pending arraignment as a Bail Violator (for DUI from Providence Police).
