WARWICK, RI —  Arrests in the RI Trooper Log between April 12 and April 16  in, nearby and involving Warwick included arrests for cocaine possession and possession of child pornography, most  the result of traffic stops:

Troopers arrest Warwick man for child porn possession On April 12, 2018, members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Christopher R. Mancini, 43, of 145 Claypool Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, for Possession of Child Pornography.

Mancini was arraigned in Third Division District Court before the Honorable Magistrate Ippolito, where he was issued $5,000 surety bail with special bail conditions of limited internet access and no contact with minors.

Driver stopped on Rte. 95, arrested on warrant On Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 10:40 a.m., troopers arrested Willy Jean-Felix, 44, of 120 Locust St., Apt. 3, Haverhill, Massachusetts on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the East Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Jean-Felix was transported to the Lincoln Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

Stop nabs man wanted on warrant for fraud At 3:03 p.m. April 15, Troopers arrested Manuel Peguero, 20, of 26 Tartaglia St. Johnston, on a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses under $1,500 originating from of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

Driver stopped on Rte. 95, arrested for cocaine possession On Sunday, April 15, 2018, at 10:30 a.m., troopers arrested Derrell Brown, 30, of 26 Kennedy Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island, on an affidavit and arrest warrant from the Providence Police Department for possession of cocaine.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95, in the City of Providence. Brown was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.
