RI Trooper Log: 911 Call Prompts DUI & Crack Arrest; Warrants on Fraud, Larceny, Assault

Hope Valley Barracks: Warrant arrest for disorderly conduct

On Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 10:49 a.m., troopers arrested Christian Soto, 23, of 5 McNiff St., West Warwick, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant on an original charge of Domestic Disorderly Conduct out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in West Greenwich. Soto was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and later turned over to Third District Court.

Wickford Barracks: MA men stopped, arrested on Rte. 95  for credit fraud

On Wednesday Jan. 14, 11:27 a.m., troopers arrested Christopher Monestime, 23, of 38 Sunnyside St., Hyde Park, MA, charging him with: 1.) Conspiracy and 2.) Obtaining a Credit Card through Fraudulent Means.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in Warwick. Monestime was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, Special Arraigned and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions.

On Wednesday Jan. 14, 11:27 a.m., troopers arrested Akiem Palmer, 23, of 406 Technology Center Dr., Stoughton, MA for 1.) Conspiracy, and 2.) Obtaining a Credit Card through Fraudulent Means.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 North in Warwick. Palmer was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, Special Arraigned and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions.

 

Scituate Barracks: Warwick man arrested for skipping court on larceny, shoplifting charges

At 3:45 p.m. Jan. 16, troopers arrested Byron Nelson, 24, of 130 Zaccharian Place, Warwick, charging him with: 1) Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on original charge of Larceny over $1,500 originating out of the Portsmouth Police Department, 2) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the Original Charge of Shoplifting from the Providence Police Department. Nelson was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake.

Hope Valley Barracks: Pawtucket man arrested on WPD warrant for interfering with meter 

On Thursday, Jan. 15, 11:30 a.m., troopers arrested Herbert Jordan, 60, of 111 Denver St., Pawtucket,  on a Third District Court Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay on the original charge of Interfering with Gas/Electric/Water Meter out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the Town of East Greenwich.Jordan was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutional Intake Center.

Hope Valley Barracks: Warrant arrest for missing court on shoplifting charge

On Thursday, Jan. 15, 3 p.m., troopers arrested Nelita Monteiro, 28, of 78 Riverview St., Brockton, MA for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear/Ability to Pay on an original charge of Shoplifting out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 102 in West Greenwich. Monteiro was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and transported to the Women’s Correctional Institutional Intake Center.

Wickford Barracks: Warrant arrest for missing court on assault charge

On Jan. 17, 11:30 p.m., troopers arrested Kelvin Estrella, 21, of 244 Oxford St., Providence, RI for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Simple Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Estrella was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correction Institution.
