COVENTRY, RI — Coventry RI Trooper Log arrests and other Kent County arrests Nov. 7 – 14 involved charges for illegal weapons, DUI and possessing contraband at the ACI.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police Coventry RI Trooper Log arrests and other Kent County arrests:

RI Trooper Log: Kent County Arrests Nov. 7 – 14

Illegal pistol carry At 12:13 p.m., troopers arrested Nicholas Custodio, 31, of 16 South Grove Ave., Warren, Rhode Island for 1.) License or Permit Required to Carry a Pistol, 2.) Large Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited, 3.) Weapons Other Than Firearms Prohibited, and 4.) Loaded Weapons in Vehicles.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 in the Town of East Greenwich. Custodio was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third District Court date.

DUI, Division Street Stop At 12:52 p.m., troopers arrested Matthew Macnie, 36, of 206 Kenyon Ave., East Greenwich, RI for 1.) Possession of a Schedule I to V Substance Under 10 Grams (Cocaine) and 2.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense, and 3.) Refusal to Submit to a Blood Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop resulting from reports of an erratic operator on Division Street in the Town of East Greenwich. Macnie was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.

ACI  contraband On Nov, 8, 2024, members of the ACI Unit arrested Courtney Anderson, 56, of 47 Willow St., Coventry RI for the following: 1) Conveyance of Unauthorized Articles To/From Institution; and 2) Conspiracy.

Anderson was processed at Headquarters, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending a future Third District court date.
