Warwick, RI – A “wintry mix” of freezing drizzle and light snow will make tonight’s commute home a slippery, hazardous one for drivers.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the evening, ending at 6 p.m. tonight.

Though the light precipitation is expected to end early this evening, untreated roads and walkways will remain slick and require extra caution during throughout the evening, according to the advisory.

The advisory affects all of Rhode Island and eastern Massachuesetts. Temperatures are expected to remain in the upper 20s and 30s tonight.
