Holiday Art Project at WMOA, 1 p.m.
This week, local artist Jason Howell hosts a workshop on painting Christmas decorations as part of the celebration for Warwick Museum of Art’s recent selection to create the national ornaments for the Rhode Island State Christmas Tree.
Organizers says the project is age-appropriate for kids, meaning the parents can spirit away for a bit while the kids make their own art.
Cost is $15. Call to register: 401-737-0010.
