Evelyn Ruth Marchessault: Worked with Special Ed Students

Warwick, RI – Evelyn Ruth Marchessault (Sedina), 90, formerly of Knollwood Ave., Cranston, passed away peacefully at Scalabrini Villa on Oct. 18, 2014.

Evelyn was the wife of the late Marcel J. Marchesseault to whom she was married for 55 years. She had been a teacher’s aide for special education students with the Cranston School Department for 18 years.

Born in Providence, she was the youngest daughter of the late William and Mary Sedina. Evelyn leaves her children Robert and Cindy Marchesseault of North Kingstown, Janet and John McGee of Woonsocket, and Richard and Tina Marchesseault of Warwick; her grandchildren Elizabeth Ibey, Andrew Marchesseault, Alyssa McGee, Jacob Marchesseault and Lilly Marchesseault; and her great-grandchildren Owen and Anna Ibey.

She was the sister of the late Mary Smith, Helen Farmer and Louise Stone.

A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 10 am in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston, RI. Burial will follow at the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Kindly omit flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Scalabrini Villa Health Care Center, 860 N. Quidnessett Road, North Kingstown, RI 02852.
