COVENTRY, RI — Coventry arrests in the RI Trooper Log Nov. 10 – 17 involved charges for Fentanyl possession and DUI.

Here are the basics on those Coventry arrests:

Fentanyl possession

At 1:43 AM Nov. 12, Troopers arrested Genesis Lara, age 31, of 795 Carr’s Trail, Coventry, Rhode Island for 1.) Possession of Schedule I-V Controlled Substance, Under Ten Grams – Fentanyl. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 10 in the City of Cranston. The subject was transported to the State Police – Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released.

DUI, EG stop

At 12:14 a.m. Nov. 17, Troopers arrested Charles Chatterly, 42, of 1763 Victory Highway, Coventry, RI for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs B.A.C. Unknown- 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest took place as a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the Town of East Greenwich. Chatterley was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and later released to the custody of a responsible adult.

DUI, EG stop
