Council Wednesday: Heath Ave. Parking, Landlords & Debris, Buckeye Brook

WARWICK, RI — The Warwick City Council meets Wednesday night to consider final passage of a ban on parking on Heath Avenue’s south side, then first passage on making landlords responsible for tenants’ street debris and a ban on keeping and feeding wildlife.

Counilors will also consider a resolution asking the Warwick Public Works Department and their engineering consultant  to present a report on the Buckeye Brook Phragmites and elevated water level remediation to the Council at the Dec. 3 or 17 meeting , then require the DOT to pay for the work, and another asking the Warwick Sewer Authority to wait 20 years with a functioning septic system before assessing property owners for sewers.

The council will address those topics starting at 7 p.m. at Warwick City Hall, 3275 Post Road. Copies of the full agenda, and the resolutions are embedded below:
