WARWICK, RI — The Boys & Girls Clubs of Warwick’s 41st Annual Golf Tournament returns to Warwick Country Club Sept. 23.

The 18-hole Donald Ross designed Par 69 seaside course is the only one in the state recognized by Golf Digest as a “Best Course”.  And now you can play on the challenging fairways and greens while taking in the beautiful vistas normally only available to members.

BGCW’s tournament kicks off at the 394 Narragansett Bay Ave. course in Warwick with registration and a buffet lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m. Shotgun start is at 1 p.m. When the game is done, guests will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed by dinner and an awards program.

Golfers will be eligible to win prizes for numerous contests including closest-to-the-pin and longest drive. Participants can also take part in raffles for some great prizes including golf equipment, restaurant gift certificates and more.

The cost for individual players is $200; foursomes are $800. Corporate sponsor levels range from $150 for a Tee Sign to $2,000. All donations are tax deductible and help BGCW provide important after-school activities and vacation camps and basketball leagues for more than 1,500 area youth.

Visit BGCW’s website at www.wbgclubs.org to fill out an entry form and enjoy a fun day of golf you won’t soon forget.
