WARWICK, RI — A Warwick Black Friday Keno winner is enjoying a surprise $22,500, one of two local women winning lottery plays over the holiday weekend.
Warwick’s Nancy Martin wagered $5 on a seven spot Keno ticket, winning the $22,500 prize at ShopSmart, 2109 Warwick Ave., Warwick, Nov. 29.
The same day, a woman from Cranston won $26,040 on the Daily Numbers Midday Drawing. She wagered $5 on a combination bet, winning on the 4 digit straight and box. She purchased her winning ticket at Dave’s Marketplace, 550 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, and plans to put her winnings in savings.
At the Rhode Island Lottery Headquarters that day, hundreds of Rhode Island Lottery players stopped in to purchase this year’s Holiday Instant Ticket gift set.
