Providence County Grand Jury: Robbery, Child Molestation Indictments

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The Providence County Grand Jury has returned four indictments on charges including robbery and child molestation.

Here are the details of those indictments:

Robbery, Assault – Gerardo Borras-Gonzalez, 32, Pawtucket: On June 6, 2019, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Gerardo Borras-Gonzalez with one count of first-degree robbery, one count of simple assault, one count of assault with intent to rob, and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon.

 

The alleged acts occurred in the city of Pawtucket sometime between November 2, 2018 and November 20, 2018. The Pawtucket Police Department conducted the investigation.

Borras-Gonzalez is scheduled to be arraigned on June 26, 2019 in Providence County Superior Court.

 Natan Santos, 23, Providence, RI: On June 6, 2019, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Natan Santos with one count of first-degree robbery, and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon.

 The alleged acts occurred in Providence sometime on March 17, 2019. The Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

 Santos is scheduled to be arraigned on June 26, 2019 in Providence County Superior Court.

 Child molestation – Alex Cruz, 42, Providence, RI On June 6, 2019, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Alex Cruz with three counts of first-degree child molestation.

 

 The alleged acts occurred in the city of Providence sometime between December 19, 2011 and January 26, 2013. The Providence Police Department conducted the investigation.

 The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on June 26, 2019 in Providence County Superior Court.

 Child molestation – Erick Nimaja Patzan, 27, Cranston, RI On June 6, 2019, the Providence County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Erick Nimaja Patzan with three counts of first-degree child molestation and two counts of second-degree child molestation.

 

 The alleged acts occurred in the city of Cranston sometime between July 1, 2018 and January 22, 2019. The Cranston Police Department conducted the investigation.

 The defendant is scheduled to be arraigned on June 26, 2019 in Providence County Superior Court.
