WARWICK, RI —In just a handful of days, RI fireworks, including Warwick Fourth of July fireworks, return as Rhode Islanders celebrates the Fourth of July — here are the details, from Coventry fireworks to Bristol Fireworks, and statewide schedules:

Warwick fireworks are set for  Wednesday night, July 3 and can be viewed at dusk (approximately 9 p.m.), lasting about 30 minutes, visible from the Oakland Beach seawall or Warwick City Park.

“Come down to Oakland Beach and enjoy the excitement of beautiful fireworks reflecting over the picturesque Narragansett Bay. For about 30 minutes, you’ll enjoy a colorful show that lights up the nighttime sky,” the tourism department noted.

Rain date for Warwick fireworks is July 5. The Department of Tourism, Culture and Development’s Facebook and Twitter accounts will also have updates.

Coventry’s Parks and Recreation Department hosts their annual Fourth of July Coventry fireworks celebration weeks in advance of the holiday, just held last weekend at Coventry High School.

However, there’s still fireworks action to be had in Coventry, since the JPCA reports its annual fireworks show held July 4th, is on this year after a hiatus in 2024, with ownership of the Pond now in town hands.

In 2023, Warwick Police shared the following guidance for people watching the fireworks from Coventry High and the surrounding area:

“For those leaving Sharon Drive, Island Drive and surrounding roads you will be directed down Wood Cove Drive. There is no on street parking!
Those of you that are parking at the High School there will only be one exit on to Club House Road and you will need to turn right out of the parking lot toward Reservoir Road. We will have an officer working the traffic light on Reservoir Road at RT 3. You will not be allowed to exit the High School directly on to Reservoir Road (High School entrance).”

If those shows don’t light your fuse, there are enough fireworks in Rhode island celebrating the Fourth of July for you to view a pyrotechnic show every day of the holiday weekend — assuming you successfully combine careful planning and luck.

Here is our usual roundup on the details of all the state’s Fourth of July fireworks displays, from Bristol fireworks to Smithfield Fireworks (Let us know if we missed any by emailing editor@warwickpost.com).
