

WARWICK, RI —The Warwick City Council has final passage of ordinances prohibiting off-road vehicles from public property and establishing parking fees at City beaches Monday, Nov. 20 at City Hall, 7 p.m., again.
The ordinances were also up for second passage Oct. 16.
The ordinance prohibiting off-road vehicles on public property (parks and streets) applies to snowmobiles, dirt bikes and ATVs. Violations of the ordinance would be punishable by impounding or towing the vehicle and a maximum $500 fine and/or up to 30 days imprisonment.
The ordinance establishing parking fees at City beaches, which passed its first hurdle unanimously Aug. 21, would set up resident and non-resident parking fees for Oakland Beach, City Park Beach and Conimicut Beach during the 2018 summer season:
b. Nonresident, per car ….. $60
c. Senior, resident $10.00
d. Senior, nonresident $30.00
