WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police are investigating a Toll Gate Road motorcycle – car crash this morning at about 9:26 a.m., when the motorcycle struck the rear of a car turning into the lot at 390 Toll Gate Road, resulting in life-threatening injuries to the motorcycle rider.
Warwick Police report that the car driver was traveling west on Toll Gate Road when they attempted to make a left hand turn into the parking lot at 390 Toll Gate Road when the motorcycle, also traveling west on Toll Gate Road, collided with the rear of the car. The motorcycle rider, 29, was transported to Rhode Island Hospital Trauma Center by the Warwick Fire Department with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Toll Gate Road Motorcycle-Car Crash Investigation Ongoing
Warwick Police are still investigating the crash, and reported that updates will be provided as the investigation into the Toll Gate Road motorcycle-car crash continues.
Police ask anyone who witnessed the crash or has any information about it to contact the Traffic Unit at 401-468-4200.
