WPD Investigates Second Motorcycle Crash Sept 23

WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police were called to Quaker Lane at the intersection with Major Potter Road at 7:22 p.m. Sept. 23 for the second motorcycle crash in as many days.

According to Warwick Police,  the motorcycle operator and passenger, both of whom were wearing helmets at the time of the crash, were transported to Rhode Island Hospital with apparent non-life-threatening injuries. The operator of the car remained at the scene of the motorcycle vs. car crash.

The crash remains under active investigation by the Warwick Police Traffic Division; however; operator impairment does not appear to be a factor at this time.

Warwick Police asked anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has information that could assist investigators to contact the Warwick Police Traffic Division at 401-468-4200.
