WPD: Fight Ends With Neck Slash Arrest

WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police were called to 40 Nash Ave. at 5:20 p.m. Sunday for a reported fight between two men, finding one, 53, with  a severe slash wound to his neck, resulting in the other man’s neck slash arrest.

Warwick Police Officers were called to the address for a reported disturbance between two adults who were actively fighting, Warwick Police report.

Neck Slash Arrest: No Danger to Public

Upon arrival, officers located a 53-year-old male victim who had suffered a severe slash wound to his neck. The suspect, identified as  Keith Dimuccio, 51, was located on-scene and taken into police custody.

The Warwick Fire Department was called to the scene to treat the victim, and ultimately transported the victim to Rhode Island Hospital for additional treatment for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Although there is no additional danger to the public, this investigation remains on-going, and no additional information will be released at this time.
