WPD DUI Arrests Feb. 1-28, Map

WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police made 15 DUI arrests following traffic stops throughout the city in February.

Here are the basics of those Warwick Police arrests, with the stops, dates and times, mapped above:

February 2026 DUI arrests

  1. On Feb. 1 at 5:19 p.m., Officer Kevin P Grant Jr. stopped McKenzie A. Walker, 44, of 3524 West Shore Road, Apt. #704, Warwick, RI on 49 Main Ave., charging him with DUI, and citing him for refusing a breath test of their blood alcohol content. Walker was arraigned March 3 in Third District Court, scheduled for a pretrial conference April 3, and released on $1,000 personal recognizance with a requirement for pretrial alcohol monitoring.  
  2. On  Feb. 5 at 9:45 p.m.,Officer Ryan E Riecke stopped a 60-year-old Cranston man on 2411 Post Road, Warwick, RI, on suspicion of DUI, ultimately citing them for lane violations
  3. On Feb. 5 at 9:48 p.m., Officer Robert S. Macera stopped Melissa Guamer, 41, of 191 Claypool Drive,  Warwick, RI on 214 Buttonwoods Ave., Warwick, RI, charging her with DUI, blood alcohol content .15 or greater, first offense. Gaumer was arraigned March 5, scheduled for a March 30 pretrial conference, and released on $1,000 personal recognizance.
  4. On Feb. 7 at 5:42 p.m.,  Officer Kristopher D Orellana stopped a 43-year-old Warwick woman on  2078 West Shore Road, Warwick, RI, charging her with DUI, blood alcohol unknown, first offense, and cited her for refusing a breath test.
  5. On Feb. 7 at 4:41 p.m. Officer Jonathan C McHugh stopped David J. Michaud, 56, of 359 Ring Ave., Warwick, RI at 1325 Post Road, Warwick, RI, charging him with DUI, .15 or greater, first offense. Michaud was arraigned in Third District Court March 16 and scheduled for a pretrial conference for April 1.
  6. On Feb. 8 at 6:23 p.m., Officer Johnathan H DiPietro stopped Pamela A. Young, 73, of 23811 Grant. Drive, Loxley AL on the Rte. 295 South On-Ramp, charging her with DUI, .15 or greater, first offense. Young was arraigned March 10, scheduled for an April 6 pretrial conference and released on $1,000 bail.
  7. On Feb. 14 at 9:26 a.m., Officer David M Gaulin stopped Kacy J. Lovegreen, 36, of 57 Ruby St., Warwick, RI on 1800 Post Road, Warwick, RI, charging her with DUI, blood alcohol concentration unknown, second offense, and citing her for refusing a breath test. Lovegreen was arraigned in Third District Court March 13, scheduled for a pretrial conference April 3 and released on $1,000 personal recognizance.
  8.  On Feb. 15 at 1:41 a.m., Officer Benjamin L Floyd stopped Lanie C. Heller, 56, of 7 Curry Place, Warwick, RI, on 216 Airport Road, charging her with DUI, blood alcohol unknown, first offense, and citing her for Refusal to Submit to Chemical Test (1st Offense). Heller is scheduled for a March 31 arraignment in Third District Court.
  9.  On Feb. 15, at 11:09 a.m., Officer Michael C Bailey stopped Rebecca A. Salvaggi, 34, of  9 Glen Street,  North Providence, RI at 510 Quaker Lane, charging her with Obstructing an officer in his duty, DUI, blood alcohol unknown, first offense, disorderly conduct and cited her for refusing a checmical test, first offense. Salvaggi is scheduled for a pretrial conference in Third District Court on March 24.
  10. On Feb. 18 at 1:56 p.m., Officer Alejandro J Martinez stopped Richard Medeiros, 42, of 112 Earl St., West Warwick, RI, on 615 Greenwich Ave., charging him with DUI, blood alcohol unknown, second offense, and cited him for refusing to submit to a chemical test, first offense. Medeiros is scheduled to be arraigned on the charge in Third District Court March 19.
  11. On Feb. 20 at 3:30 p.m., Officer Jake R Reddy stopped Christina Geruso, 43, of 313 Lynne Lane, Mapleville, RI, at 375 East Avenue, charging her with DUI, blood alcohol unknown, first offense, and cited her for refusing a chemical test, first offense. Geruso is scheduled to be arraigned on the charge in Third District Court March 24.
  12. SUV Hits Fast Freddie’s Sign On Feb. 22 at 1:02 a.m., Officer Jonathan Lee stopped Christopher Duchesneau, 31, of 25 Coventry Drive, Coventry, RI, at 2003 Post Road, charging him with DUI, .15 or greater. He is scheduled to be arraigned on the charge in Third District Court March 24.
  13. Post Road Light, Driver Dozing On Feb. 28 at 2:23 a.m., Officer Jorge Ramirez stopped Mindy McCarthy, 49, of 535 Roosevelt Ave., Apt. 208, Central Falls, RI, at 885 Post Road (Fairfax Drive intersection), charging her with DUI, blood alcohol unknown, and citing her for refusing a chemical test of her blood alcohol. McCarthy was released on $1,000 personal recognizance and scheduled for a March 26 hearing in Third District Court. She is scheduled to be arraigned on the charge in Third District Court March 28.
  14. On Feb. 28 at 1:37 p.m., Officer Normand Guilbert stopped Betty A. Kuntze, 61 of 1811 Warwick Ave., Apt. #32S at 3050 Post Rd (Earlham Way intersection), charging her with DUI, blood alcohol unknown. She is scheduled to be arraigned on the charge in Third District Court March 24.
  15. Snow Bank Topped, DUI Charge Leveled: On Feb. 28 at 8:37 p.m., Officer Matthew Maloney responded to a crash reported at 10 Wood St., charging Steven Aldrin, 31, of 28 Wood St., Warwick, with DUI, blood alcohol unknown, and citing him for refusing a chemical test. He was scheduled to be arraigned on the charge in Third District Court March 24, and released on $1,000 personal recognizance.
