WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police seek the public’s help investigating a Nov. 6 West Shore Road motorcycle crash vs. car with injuries to driver and rider, the latter in critical condition.

At about 4:52 p.m. that day, Warwick officers were dispatched to West Shore Road at Moccasin Drive for the West Shore Road motorcycle vs. car crash.

Officers found a man, the motorcyclist, lying in the road with upper body and facial injuries; and a car with heavy passenger-side damage. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.

Warwick EMS personnel responded to the scene and treated both rider and driver, transporting each to Rhode Island Hospital.

West Shore Road motorcycle crash vs. car

The Warwick Police Traffic Units’ Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the crash an initial investigation indicated a gray Toyota Camry operated by Cynthia Morse, 61, of Warwick had been traveling in the left, westbound lane of West Shore Road and was making a left turn onto Moccasin Drive, when a gray Suzuki GSX 1300 motorcycle, ridden by Xander Bellini, 21, of Warwick, had been traveling in the right, eastbound lane of West Shore Rd, and collided with the passenger side of the Camry

Bellini is currently listed in critical condition and Morse is listed in stable condition. 

 Alcohol does not appear to be a factor. No charges are pending at this time, and police are still investigating the circumstances leading to the crash.
