WARWICK, RI — This week’s Warwick events lineup includes the Blues Brothers free movie at Proclamation Ale, the Oakland Beach Egg Hunt Saturday and Winter Market Sunday, with a greenhouse escape from lingering cold, gray weather.
The Warwick Weekend events weather forecast calls for mostly misty skies with highs in the 50s, then temps in the 60s with patchy fog Saturday, then back to the 50s with a chance of rain Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
Warwick Weekend Events Friday:
Proclamation Ale Free Movie Friday Proclamation Ale Company shows “The Blues Brothers” tonight. It’s Free movie night again with another first Friday at 8 p.m. at the Proclamation Taproom, 298 Kilvert St., Warwick, RI. During first Fridays, Proclamation shows a movie in the taproom with sound. Movies start at 8 p.m. until otherwise noted. Outside chairs permitted. Friday’s Food vendor: Belly Busters
Bring Your Own Improv, WCFA Bring Your Own Improv is back for family friendly live performances every Friday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $11.63. If you’re looking for something fun to do late on a Friday night in Warwick, they’ve got you covered. Their Caffeinated Insomniacs Comedy show – designed for teens and adults – is the place to be at 10 p.m.
Their show welcomes voluntary audience participation. You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you’re ready, jump up and get involved. WCFA, responding to the parking ban Wednesday: “There will be a parking ban on Post Road so you will need to park in the city lot behind our building.’
Botanical Greenhouse (Roger Williams Park)Escape the cold and gray of winter during a visit to the Roger Williams Park Botanical Center, open year-round, Tuesday-Sunday 10 a.m. -4 p.m. (last admission at 3:30 pm.) RWPBC is an oasis in the heart of Roger Williams Park. There are over 23,000 square feet of indoor display gardens. The year-round 70-degree temperatures in the greenhouses create a tropical ecosystem where you will find insects, birds, fish, and many other inhabitants all working together to create a balanced ecosystem. Oakland Beach Easter Egg Hunt Visit Oakland Beach Elementary School Playground, 383 Oakland Beach Ave., at noon, sharp, for a rain-or-shine Egg Hunt event, with a raffle and free grilled burgers provided by the Warwick Knights of Columbus. Bring your own bags.
Clouds Hill Exhibit, Books & Art: March 7 through April 4 – In 2026 Clouds Hill Museum offers a series of small exhibits featuring some of our collections. These exhibits will be on display for all visitors. Opening Saturday, March 7, the exhibit, ‘A Book is a Work of Art‘ will run till April 4.
