WARWICK, RI — Spooky season is in full swing this Warwick weekend, featuring Halloween events such as the Annual Spooktacular Marketplace, a Halloween movie night, and the continuation of the Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular, along with a Touch-a-Truck fundraiser and a macrame workshop.
The Warwick weekend weather forecast promises mostly clear and sunny with a slight chance of showers, with a high of 60 Friday, sunny, with a high near 62 Saturday, and mostly sunny with a chance of rain, with a high near 65 Sunday, the National Weather Service reports.

Warwick Weekend Events Friday:
Halloween Movie Night on the Diamond This just in…WCALL will be hosting its very own, first ever Halloween movie night. Grab your family, friends, blankets, and chairs and gather up together on the diamond and enjoy one last hoorah of the season. Full concession open for your viewing pleasure. Movie TBD. We hope to see you there!
Farmers Market at Goddard Memorial State Park Support and enjoy local food and farmers! Join our weekly farmers market from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and get to know the hardworking people who grow your veggies, fruit, flowers, and favorite foods! For the first few weeks, the market mostly offers bedding plants, hanging plants, cut flowers, meat, early vegetable crops, honey, and maple syrup. As traditional local summer crops become available, additional vendors will participate.
Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular This fall, Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular: Trivia-2nd Edition returns September 26-November 2, with a brand-new batch of brain busters carved into the glow of thousands of pumpkins. It’s chapter two of the ultimate fall challenge. From pop culture to historical legends, each twist in the trail brings questions that spark curiosity and fun for all ages. Don’t miss New England’s “must-see” family-friendly event of the Halloween season!
Free nightly parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with optional premium parking available. Please remember to bring along your patience— the magical experience inside is worth every moment. Pumpkin trail is open nightly from 6:00-10:30 p.m., last entry at 10:00 p.m. The Spectacular is open rain or shine, all tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a different date.
Bring Your Own Improv, WCFA Bring Your Own Improv is back for family friendly live performances every Friday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $11.63. If you’re looking for something fun to do late on a Friday night in Warwick, they’ve got you covered. Their Caffeinated Insomniacs Comedy show – designed for teens and adults – is the place to be at 10 p.m. Their show welcomes voluntary audience participation. You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you’re ready, jump up and get involved.
Warwick Weekend Events Saturday:
Spooktacular Marketplace Join us on Saturday, October 18 from 10:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for a fang-tastic day of fall fu at the Spooktacular Marketplace, happening outdoors on the grounds of the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick. This family-friendly event features activities for everyone, including live music, a variety of food trucks, an adorable petting zoo, and over 100 festive vendors with unique finds. Come celebrate spooky season with us—its going to be a wicked good time.
Women’s Wilderness Weekend 50th anniversary cookout/hike/fun Women’s Wilderness Weekend‘s women’s event Saturday, during the October retreat, celebrates the non-profit’s 50th anniversary with a cookout, nature hikes, kayaking, decoupage & ornament workshops and slideshow, for $25. Fueled by Courage: Touch-a-Truck Event Come on out on Saturday, October 18 from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Greenwood Credit union City Hall Plaza, Warwick for Fueled by Courage Touch-a-Truck event. Get up close with construction equipment, first responder vehicles, face painting, DJ, food trucks, and more. You can also take this opportunity to check out the new ice-skating rink behind City Hall. This event is free and open to the public. All donations will be directed to family of local teenager, Madi Brodeur, who is battling a rare cancer. We hope to see you there!

Pups at Par Join us at 150 Gray St., Warwick every Saturday from 12-4 p.m. for Pups at Par. Bring your well-behaved furry friends for a relaxing lunch at our scenic property. Macrame at Proc: Macrame Workshop with ShannMade Come out to Proclamation Ale on Sunday, October 19 at 1:00 p.m. for our first ever Macrame Workshop with ShannMade. Shannon will give you a step-by-step lesson teaching you how to create a macrame plant hanger. Cost to participate is $55 per person, which includes the lesson, materials, small pot, and a 12oz beer.
