WARWICK, RI — This Warwick weekend is full of unique opportunities for everyone, including a family movie night, a Down syndrome awareness event, and event at Proclamation Ale, along with the usual trivia night and Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular.

The Warwick weekend weather forecast promises mostly clear and sunny, with a high near 60 Friday, mostly sunny with a high near 65 Saturday, and mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, with a high near 63 Sunday, the National Weather Service reports.

Here are some events and happenings to help you decide where you’re spending this Warwick weekend:

Warwick Weekend Events Friday: 

Family Movie Night Join your neighbors, bring your friends, and come out on Friday, October 10 at 7:00 p.m. and enjoy a free movie under the stars. We will be watching Disney’s Monster’s University. Bring your comfy chairs and blankets, we suggest bug spray as well, and we will supply the popcorn. Please meet us at Norwood Field. Located off Fredrick Street, Warwick. We hope to see you there!

Propagate at Proclamation Ale: Hydroponic Propagation Workshop Come out to Proclamation Ale on Friday, October 10 at 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. for our first ever Hydroponic Propagation Workshop with Bitsy’s Proper-gations. They’ll teach you how to propagate a plant and you’ll leave with a cute new plant in a mason jar and macrame hanger. We have two start times so you can pick the one that works best for you. Cost to participate is $50 per person, which includes a plant, mason jar, hanger, and a 12oz beer. Food will be available for purchase from W’s Wood Fired Pizza.

Farmers Market at Goddard Memorial State Park Support and enjoy local food and farmers! Join our weekly farmers market from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and get to know the hardworking people who grow your veggies, fruit, flowers, and favorite foods! For the first few weeks, the market mostly offers bedding plants, hanging plants, cut flowers, meat, early vegetable crops, honey, and maple syrup. As traditional local summer crops become available, additional vendors will participate.

Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular This fall, Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular: Trivia-2nd Edition returns September 26-November 2, with a brand-new batch of brain busters carved into the glow of thousands of pumpkins. It’s chapter two of the ultimate fall challenge. From pop culture to historical legends, each twist in the trail brings questions that spark curiosity and fun for all ages. Don’t miss New England’s “must-see” family-friendly event of the Halloween season!

Free nightly parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with optional premium parking available. Please remember to bring along your patience— the magical experience inside is worth every moment. Pumpkin trail is open nightly from 6:00-10:30 p.m., last entry at 10:00 p.m. The Spectacular is open rain or shine, all tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a different date.

Bring Your Own Improv, WCFA Bring Your Own Improv is back for family friendly live performances every Friday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $11.63. If you’re looking for something fun to do late on a Friday night in Warwick, they’ve got you covered. Their Caffeinated Insomniacs Comedy show – designed for teens and adults – is the place to be at 10 p.m. Their show welcomes voluntary audience participation. You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you’re ready, jump up and get involved.

2025 Walk to End Domestic Violence Join us this Domestic Violence Awareness Month on Saturday, October 11 from 10:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m for our 3rd Annual Walk to End Domestic Violence at the scenic Rocky Point State Park. Enjoy a mission moment with inspiring survivor speakers, music, food trucks, face painting, community resources, and a K9 demonstration by Warwick PD. All funds raised will support the Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center, which serves over 3,500 individuals affected by domestic violence and sexual assault each year. Come out and walk this 1.3-mile loop that offers a stunning setting as we come together for a great cause.

Pups at Par Join us at 150 Gray St., Warwick every Saturday from 12-4 p.m. for Pups at Par. Bring your well-behaved furry friends for a relaxing lunch at our scenic property. Treat yourself to delicious food while your pups explore and unwind in a pet-friendly atmosphere, where they can even enjoy some pup-friendly menu specials. Don’t miss out on the fun and a chance to make some new furry-friends.

2025 Down Syndrome Awareness Walk and Family Fun Festival Get ready to celebrate inclusion, community, and the incredible Down syndrome community. Our biggest annual event brings families, friends, and supporters together for a morning of walking, music, and smiles. The DSSRI Down Syndrome Awareness Walk and Family Fun Festival is more than just a walk; its a celebration of the extraordinary individuals with Down syndrome who inspire us every day.

This event will take place on Sunday, October 12. Registration begins at 10:00 a.m. and the walk kicks off at 11:00 a.m., with festival fun to follow. The festival will include music, entertainment, activities for all ages, and smiles everywhere! Every step we take raises awareness and funds for the mission of DSSRI. Whether you’re starting a team joining one, donating, or cheering from the sidelines, your support makes a difference. Come walk with us! Let’s make it a day to remember!

Trivia Sunday at Shannon View Inn Sunday Trivia Night Alert! Gather your friends and put your knowledge to the test this Sunday, October 12 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for our Funday Sunday Trivia Night.
