WARWICK, RI — This week’s Warwick Weekend events feature food trucks, a healthy kids fair at the YMCA, a car wash fundraiser and public skating.
The Warwick Weekend events weather forecast promises sunny skies in the 60s, save for Saturday, which will be rainy, the National Weather Service reports.
Here are some events and happenings to help you decide where you’re spending this Warwick weekend:
Warwick Weekend Events Friday:
Roger Williams Food Truck Fridays End your week at Food Truck Friday – an outdoor food truck festival at Carousel Village starting at 5 pm. Attendance is free, just pay for what you eat and drink from an ever changing rotation of more than 15 food trucks each week.
The Carousel campus has a lot of open space and rolling hills shaded by trees, the perfect spot to grab dinner from a food truck and listen to music and entertainment during the park’s Food Truck Fridays event. The outdoor food truck festival at Carousel Village starts at 5 pm. Attendance is free, just pay for what you eat and drink from an ever changing rotation of more than 15 food trucks each week.
WCFA Emerging Artists Exhibit This is a special exhibit for us, featuring young emerging artists from both high school and college. But don’t let their youth fool you! The artwork is extraordinary! Come see it before it closes April 19! The gallery is open from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. every Wednesday through Saturday. There is no charge for admission.
WCFA Yoga Visit the Warwick Center or the Arts (WCFA), 3273 Post Road Warwick, every Friday 10 – 11 a.m. for yoga. (subject to change during summer camp sessions)
Bring Your Own Improv, WCFA Bring Your Own Improv is back for family friendly live performances every Friday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $11.63. If you’re looking for something fun to do late on a Friday night in Warwick, they’ve got you covered. Their Caffeinated Insomniacs Comedy show – designed for teens and adults – is the place to be at 10 p.m. Their show welcomes voluntary audience participation. You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you’re ready, jump up and get involved.
Thayer Arena Public Skate: Through March, Friday and Sunday, Public Skate is open to skaters of all ages. Cost to Skate is $5 – Children 5 and under are free. Skate Rentals are available at Sandy Lane Sports across the street from the rink.

No Skate Dates: Fridays: 2/9 & 3/22 Sundays: 3/10
Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a guardian who is 18 years or older. Children ages 13-17 without an adult staying onsite must be paid for and signed in by an adult that can leave emergency contact information. Only persons wearing skates are permitted on the ice surface. Helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters.
Warwick Weekend Events Saturday:
Healthy Kids Day, YMCA Visit the Kent County YMCA, 900 Centerville Rd, Warwick, RI, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We have 30 community partners scheduled to participate and provide information and giveaways!
Braton Cemetery Clean-up. From 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. – Visit WK#34 Braton Cemetery located at 3478 Post Rd. Bring rakes and gloves if you have them. A limited amount can be provided. We will provide water and snacks. Community service hours are available.
Warwick Weekend Events Sunday:
Pilgrim Softball Booster Car Wash Pilgrim Booster Club is hosting a car wash event on Sunday, April 27, from 10-2 at the Pilgrim Senior Center. Please join us in supporting the Pilgrim Softball Team!
