WARWICK, RI — This week’s Warwick Weekend events offer improv, bowling for Big Brothers and Big Sisters, a kid’s festival at the Mall  and a women’s exhibit at Clouds Hill Museum

The Warwick Weekend events weather forecast promises a  rainy start Thursday and Friday then sunny skies with temps in the high 40s and 50s,  the National Weather Service reports

Here are some events and happenings to help you decide where you’re spending this Warwick weekend: 

Warwick Weekend Events Thursday:

Support the Battle of the Badges Join us on March 20 from 2-5 p.m. at Lang’s Bowlarama (225 Niantic Ave, Cranston, RI 02907) as members of the Warwick Police Department compete in a friendly bowling tournament to raise money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of RI. Come out and cheer on the officers while supporting an amazing cause! If you’re unable to attend but still want to contribute, donations are greatly appreciated. Warwick Weekend Events Friday:

Bring Your Own Improv, WCFA Bring Your Own Improv is back for family friendly live performances every Friday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $11.63. If you’re looking for something fun to do late on a Friday night in Warwick, they’ve got you covered. Their Caffeinated Insomniacs Comedy show – designed for teens and adults – is the place to be at 10 p.m. Their show welcomes voluntary audience participation. You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you’re ready, jump up and get involved.

Thayer Arena Public Skate: Through March, Friday and Sunday, Public Skate is open to skaters of all ages. Cost to Skate is $5 – Children 5 and under are free. Skate Rentals are available at Sandy Lane Sports across the street from the rink.

  • Fridays 3:15-5:15 p.m.
  • Sundays 12:50 – 2:30 p.m.

No Skate Dates: Fridays: 2/9 & 3/22 Sundays: 3/10

Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a guardian who is 18 years or older. Children ages 13-17 without an adult staying onsite must be paid for and signed in by an adult that can leave emergency contact information. Only persons wearing skates are permitted on the ice surface. Helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters.

Warwick Weekend Events Saturday:

Kids Festival, Warwick Mall Join us for a day full of excitement and activities for the whole family at Warwick Mall, 400 Bald Hill Road Stop by the CHILD, Inc. table to learn more about the amazing programs we offer.  There will be plenty of fun for the little ones, including: Face painting, hair braiding, balloons, characters, 50 vendors, crafters and small businesses.
A Women’s World exhibit Step back in time at Clouds Hill Victorian House Museum for A Women’s World exhibit through March 30.Clouds Hill again honors the females of the four centuries of Rhode Island women who made a difference. Call to arrange a visit or join them on  Saturday, March 22  when the museum will be open between 1 and 3:30 p.m. – no reservations required.
These are not guided tours. General admission fee required.
A special portion of the 2025 exhibit will honor the United States Cadet Nurse Program of the World War II era.

Warwick Weekend Events Sunday:
