WARWICK, RI — This week’s Warwick Weekend events offer improv, trivia, free movie Friday and an emerging artists’ show, and Valentines – Football inspired events.

The Warwick Weekend events weather forecast portends temps in the 30s Friday and Saturday, then mostly sunny with high of 41 degrees Sunday, the National Weather Service reports.

Here are some events and happenings to help you decide where you’re spending this Warwick weekend: 

Warwick Weekend Events Friday:

Bring Your Own Improv, WCFA Bring Your Own Improv is back for family friendly live performances every Friday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $11.63. If you’re looking for something fun to do late on a Friday night in Warwick, they’ve got you covered. Their Caffeinated Insomniacs Comedy show – designed for teens and adults – is the place to be at 10 p.m. Their show welcomes voluntary audience participation. You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you’re ready, jump up and get involved.

 Warwick Weekend Events Saturday:

Cheerleading competition We are hosting a competition this Saturday, Feb. 22 at Pilgrim and are looking for some support from the community. We have 20 schools coming out to perform their routines and you can even enjoy seeing your local teams Warwick Vets Middle School and Pilgrim High School by attending. This will be our second annual competition being held at PHS and hope to continue to do so for years to come!

In addition to supporting the cheerleaders by attending, if anyone is able to donate or know of any local businesses who would be willing to donate for our concessions table, it would be a huge help for us. Some items we could use for example- pizza, chips, candy, water bottles, soda, sandwiches and more.
Competition start time: 11 a.m.
Adults admission: $7
Students/ Senior citizens: $5
Children under 5: FREE
Warwick Girls Hockey vs. Lasalle Come watch the Senior Night Ceremony 5 p.m.at Thayer Arena – Front Rink, then a  game vs LaSalle 5:30 p.m.
KIses and Kickoffs Saturday Kisses and Kickoffs, our first marketplace of 2025, happening on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025 in the stunning Grand Ballroom at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, RI, this vibrant shopping event will showcase a variety of local vendors offering one-of-a-kind products and gifts. Time: 10 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Kick off your year with unique finds, community fun, and an unforgettable shopping experience. Don’t miss it.
